[edit]Description100 Countries, 10,000 Graduates, 3,000 Outbreaks.webm |
English: Over the past few decades, FETP has grown to reach over 100 countries, helping build a pool of trained epidemiologists who use data to detect and respond to disease outbreaks. Since 1982, CDC has helped train more than 10,000 FETP graduates from all over the world. Up to 80% of these program graduates continue to serve in their home countries, where they have responded to over 3,000 disease outbreaks and public health emergencies since 2005.
