I don't see how these files are inside the Commons scope.

- super PAC lawsuit pages uploaded onto commons area subject
The purpose of adding the 3 legal documents onto the commons was in support of the Wikipedia page and educational purpose to allow others to read about a pressing political issue in the United States. Wiki readers can read the text themselves to see the basis for the newspaper account of the lawsuit. This provides readers a chance to confirm that their is a suit against super PACs and their donors, and the legal basis.
The suit potentially effects 1,000's of defendants that are some of the wealthiest people in the world who face potential jail terms according to the law if the Court agrees. It also effects over $100,000,000 in campaign spending.
There are 12 million files uploaded onto commons and these 3 files are evidence of a very real and factual lawsuit against millions of dollars in campaign spending. According to commons policy: "Files that contain nothing educational other than raw text. Purely textual material such as plain-text versions of recipes, lists of instructions, poetry, fiction, quotations, dictionary definitions, lesson plans or classroom material, and the like are better hosted elsewhere" According to a google search there are 219,000 pages in commons.wikimedia.org that match the word

Notice the text of the two files above are nearly identical...there are also many more like this. Documents are as obscure on commons as:
File:Invitation card for the Opening of the Legal Year 2011 ... commons.wikimedia.org/.../File:Invitation_card_for_the_Opening_o... English: Invitation card to the Opening of the Legal Year 2011 in Singapore held on Friday, 7 January 2011(2011-01-07), in the Supreme Court auditorium.
There is a strong motivation among some members of society to make sure the legal argument that laws must be followed according to the rule of common law and reasonable person test are invalid. These are members that operate their lives and profit from the system using loop-holes. These individuals see a lawsuit such as this one a very inconvenient truth.
The suit is real, right now before 3 judges that will rule on whether super PACs are illegal.
This certainly falls into something more pressing and educational to a reader than some of the files listed above. Other comments are welcome.
The deletion of files and modification of wikipedia pages to try and delete information about the case is excellent evidence for the Court to see that there is an active campaign to suppress information about the suit. Those that depend on the money flowing into U.S. Politics via groups like super PACs and other 527 organizations are anxious to keep the pages hidden from the public so more donations will flow their way.

- "an active campaign to suppress information about the suit"? Oh please. I requested the deletion, and I'm German and in no way involved in US politics and legal matters. --Rosenzweig τ 13:03, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
