Dubious "own work" files uploaded by User:Kos93
[edit]See Commons:Administrators' noticeboard#Copyvios uploaded by User:Kos93 and w:Wikipedia:Contributor copyright investigations/Kos93. Long story short, now Kos93 is a good user, but in 2007-2008 he uploaded numerous copyvios as own work. Most of them were deleted, but some have slipped through our fingers. These are files without EXIF uploaded by Kos93 to en-wiki, and then transfered to Commons.

- I moved File:Gimnazija šabačka.jpg - it's in use on en-wiki, and due to it's rather poor quality, I never had any suspicions that it wasn't anything else but the author's photo - where else would you find such a fuzzy photo - obvious hand held night shot, any professional would have used a tripod. - The photo has very low quality, but it doesn't mean it was created by Kos93 (actually, photos really created by Kos93 generally are quite good) -- common sources of copyvios include blogs, forums, photo hosting sites and whatever social networks. --Trycatch (talk) 08:23, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
- But those sources are nicely index by Google Images. This one does not show up in an image search. Ronhjones (Talk) 19:34, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
