This work is not public domain in Russia according to any of the criteria listed in the license template. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 19:57, 1 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • It is according to the 2008 Copyright Law - 70 years have passed since the work was released. Because of the confusing templates here at Wikimedia I used the same template used with most Soviet movies produced before 1946, including those published before 1929 (this part is especially confusing since I found no confirmation in the Russian law history regarding the "January 1, 1929" date - there's no fixed starting point regarding Imperial Russian or Soviet films, only the expiration date).
  • On the side note, I was planning to replace this file - the one I uploaded suffers from a bad quality following a conversion from mp4 to webm. If you have a link to the proper 2008 copyright template, I will use it then. AveTory (talk) 08:05, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Reading en:Copyright_law_of_the_Russian_Federation#2008–present:_Part_IV_of_the_Civil_Code does indeed seem to suggest a term of 70 years after first publication, even if this is not reflected in the license template. --Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 01:44, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
