English: Media related to U.S. Route 6 in Utah (US 6), Grand Army of the Republic Highway, a 373.963-mile (601.835 km) section of U.S. Numbered Highway in Utah, United States, that is a major east–west corridor through the central part of the state connects US 6 / U.S. Route 50 (US 50) in Nevada with Interstate 70 (I-70) / US 6 / US 50 in Colorado, passing through Delta, Eureka, Spanish Fork, Price, and Green River. A substantial portion of the highway on western side of the state runs concurrent with US 50 and a substantial portion on the eastern side of the state runs concurrent with I-70 / US 50. From 1910 to 1977, the (nearly) current corridor of U6 6 (and then US 50) in the state, from Nevada to I-70 was designated by the Utah State Legislature as State Route 27, with the remainder designated as State Route 4. In 1977, the State Route 27 designation was deleted from the state highway system and the section west of I-70 was designated as Utah State Route 6. The section concurrent with I-70 / US 50 was designated as State Route 70.
