English: The Trowbridge House is a historic building located at 708 Jackson Place on Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. It was built in 1859 for William P. Trowbridge and is a contributing property to the Lafayette Square Historic District. Previous occupants include the Commission of Fine Arts, the White House Millennium Council, the Psychological Strategy Board, the Operations Coordinating Board, the White House Office of Women's Initiatives and Outreach, and the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.
