English: Scientia has been an international review of scientific synthesis, published in Bologna, Italy from 1910 until 1988; from 1907 until 1910, the journal was called Rivista di Scienza.
The journal published articles principally from famed Italian philosophers, sociologists, economists, mathematicians, and scientists, notably Vito Volterra, Giuseppe Peano, Giovanni Vailati, Guido Castelnuovo, and Salvatore Pincherle; physicists, notably Edoardo Amaldi, and Enrico Fermi; and the biologist Camillo Golgi. Moreover, Gino Loria, Roberto Marcolongo, V. Ronchi, and Ludovico Geymonat.
There were also famous foreign articles submitted in Italian, French, German, and English by S. Arrhenius, W. Ostwald, B. Russell, P. Langevin, Henri Becquerel, J.J. Thompson, E. Rutherford, Hendrik Antoon Lorentz, Sigmund Freud, Henri Poincaré, Émile Borel, E. Picard, Ernst Mach, Albert Einstein, Maurice de Broglie, A. Eddington, C. Fabry, and Werner Heisenberg; and philosophers from the Vienna circle, notably its founders Rudolf Carnap, Otto Neurath, and Philipp Frank.
