- 1925 Chalmer & Hoyal, the last two letters for Allingham
- 1928 Hoyal Bodybuilding Corporation name changed
- 1931 John Charles & Co., Limited, South Avenue, Sandicombe Road, Kew Gardens, Surrey. but
- 1931 H W Allingham set up his own design firm his designs built by Whittingham & Mitchell, Carbodies and Motor Bodies
