English: The General Grant Tree is a giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) tree in the Mariposa Grove of Yosemite National Park. The tree is the smaller of two especially large giant sequoias framing the Mariposa Grove Museum. It features deep groves in its bark and is located immediately west of the museum. This tree should not be confused with the General Grant Tree of General Grant Grove, which is located in Kings Canyon National Park and is the second largest giant sequoia in the world.
