Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hi S. Perquin. I noticed that you've made a malformed deletion request. Here, {{Delete}} is not for speedy deletion, please see COM:DP. When you want to delete a page by manually using the {{Delete}} template (rather than the automatic Nominate for deletion or Nominate category for discussion tool in the Tools menu on the sidebar per COM:DR#Starting requests and COM:CFD#Starting requests), you must follow the instructions in the template, including the "Click here to show further instructions" portion (or Commons:Deletion requests/Listing a request manually policy or the "By hand" portion of COM:CFD#Starting requests, normally collapsed), otherwise you will create a lot of work for other people.   — Jeff G. ツ _{please ping or talk to me} 16:02, 4 August 2022 (UTC)

Please note that while PNG is an acceptable way to store and recommended way to keep originals for further editing, it is poorly suited for inclusion into articles: it makes them larger and blurry when downscaled. Thanks for your comment! I did not know that. I thought png was actually better. So the next time I crop an image, it would be better to save it as a jpg image? Kind regards, S. Perquin (talk) 19:16, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

General advice for those without technical knowledge is to use Commons:CropTool. It will take care of markup ({{Extracted}} etc.), choose the appropriate method (including cases that can't be done in Paint), sometimes even suggest where to crop (though not for what have you done). The format is typically to stay the same unless there is a reason to do otherwise - Gabuxae (talk) 18:18, 14 May 2024 (UTC)
