how to request a discussion for deletion?

edit

Hi,

I'd like to request a deletion discussion for Category:South Staffordshire Railway Walk. How do I get into the "discussion" space? (I'm looking around for help instructions.) MathewTownsend (talk) 18:06, 5 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

I presume that you wanted to delete the Category:Railway walk, but that is no longer necessary since it has already been deleted. If you want to create the Category:South Staffordshire Railway Walk then start by placing an image into it, click on the red link and place the new Category:South Staffordshire Railway Walk within existing categories ( I suggested some on your talk page ). Additional help is available from the page at Commons:Categories. Good luck. Pedro Xing (talk) 00:34, 6 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well done!

I keep getting watchlist notices that you've edited files and categories I've created about Connecticut. Every time, you've found some parent category that I've forgotten about, or made some minor but oh-so-useful change. As a fellow Wikignome, I'd like to thank you for a job well done! You are welcome and thanks for the nice note. I am glad you appreciate it. Pedro Xing (talk) 20:06, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
We'll probably be seeing a lot more of each other this summer, too. I've got a whole backlog of images of the Groton & Stonington, New London & East Lyme, Shore Line Electric, and the local trolley lines to upload. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:10, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrol given

edit

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. INeverCry 01:30, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for letting me know that. Pedro Xing (talk) 01:35, 17 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Category renamed

edit

Hello Pedro Xing,

You created Category:New Earthquakes Stadium back in 2012. A few minutes ago I stumbled upon an uncategorized photo of the stadium, so I created Category:Avaya Stadium, and afterwards found the category you had created. So i recategorized the media in it.
