Halloween still can happen without trick-or-treating, pumpkins, or creepy snacks — but not without costumes. And even when it seems like every single costume’s been done before and you know you can’t reinvent the wheel, these celebrities never cease to amaze us with their Halloween getups — like The Weeknd dressed as The Nutty Professor, Cardi B as Medusa, and Janelle Monáe as Chucky. Because no matter how old the idea is, the presentation is all that matters.
