This story of an orphan Jewish girl named Esther that becomes Queen and saves a nation has many lessons to teach us in our battle of faith.

ESTHER 4:12-14 - When Esther's words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place , but you and for father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this!"

Esther is the Jewish maiden who became queen of Persia and rescued her people from a murderous plot to annihilate them. Her story is recorded in the Old Testament book bearing her name. The Jewish Feast of Purim celebrates this particular deliverance of the Jews.
