We LOVE the look of Lacquered finishes... but they can be tricky Kenny enjoys using his spray gun with enamel paint, but me? Not so much It's the "cleaning" part that gets me... I am not a strong "cleaner-upper" which is REALLY bad with a spray gun and oil based paint! Marielle | Self Taught Glossy Furniture Flips & Home DIY Tips | on Instagram: "Here’s how to spray high gloss 👇 - Whether you’re spraying, brushing, or rolling high gloss paint or lacquer the first step is ALWAYS to clean very well! I prefer using TSP mixed in hot water. - Next sand with 220 grit sandpaper. You can do this by hand with a block or an electric sander. - Wipe down with a microfiber cloth and some denatured alcohol.      - Prime with shellac. I prefer the white over the clear.  I also recommend alternating with a different color fillable primer. This makes it easier to see where the high and low spots are. - Sand after each coat of primer.
