Our wood front door has a beautiful dark stain, I usually try to maintain it by applying a protective coat every 1-2 years. However, it has honestly slipped my mind for the last few years. The result? A very dry wood door with flaking stain that scratched easily. Not good at all. The front door is the first impression of our home, so I knew I had to do something about it.Affiliate Links have been used in this post. Painting Metal Doors, Larson Storm Doors, Teal Door, Metal Doors Exterior, Turquoise Door, Metal Front Door, Green Front Doors, Turquoise Front Door, Red Front Door

I just painted this metal door turquoise, and I do love the color, I'd just like to time it down just a tad. I am looking online trying to learn how to do this, I've never used any type of glaze, or chalk paint, ect. I have whitewashed my brick fireplace, using white paint and water, but Im thinking this calls for completely different materials. The door is metal, and the turquoise paint is a latex paint. Thanks for any tips/ advice ect!
