i feel like i do tortoise so many ways depending on the image my client shows me. some like more orange/yellow tones and blunt black spots and others prefer a more muted brown tone with blended black spots. so easy to customize and MAKE IT FUN! i love doing tortoise shell 🖤

here are the exact steps i did for my client, photos posted at the end so save this post for future use!

| STEPS | 👇🏼
1. jelly honey yellow or amber orange DONT CURE
2. add medium brown spots to uncured base layer
3. CURE
4. jelly layer darker brown DONT CURE
5. add black spots to uncured layer
6. CURE
7. topcoat or add gold flakes then topcoat
8. CURE
