The fabric for this handsome glen plaid, a 65% wool, 21% silk and 14% linen weave in tan, slate and cream glen plaid with sky blue overchecks, is woven in Italy, and then cut and sewn as all of our fine jackets, in a full range of sizes, then tailored in a trim natural shoulder silhouette with a canvassed and lined two-button front, and trim 3" lapels, side vents, and double pipe and flap lower pockets. Our lambswool Donegal trousers are woven in heritage English and Irish mills, and cut in our old world workroom. Lined to the knee they are available in either forward pleat, HDTF or plain front, HDTP. Sizes 32–44 even and 33–39 odd. Loro Piana has woven this classic Prince of Wales plaid wool and cashmere sport coat fabric for us exclusively and we have tailored it into our authentic American style in a full size range. As with all our two-button jackets, it has side vents, unless otherwise requested. We propose our 170s thread count Swiss cotton Bengal stripe panama weave shirt, one of our newest striped English silk neckties, and a wing tip oxford in chestnut tanned leather, along with a complementary leather belt.

Johnstons of Elgin, the renowned Scottish mill, has woven this luxurious pure cashmere plaid in warm hues of tan, loden, chocolate, with deep red and orange overchecks, and we have tailored the coat in our workroom as a two button jacket with a canvassed front and hand felled natural shoulder, classic point to point at the shoulders, with side vents, double pipe and flap lower pockets and a welted upper pocket, with slim bluff edge lapels and a comfortable trim silhouette.
