First Day of School!
Just a few quick snaps of this morning... can't believe my baby Cole started pre-school!
How about this one ... gotta love how that Houston humidity affects the camera lens!
My Samuel started pre-k this morning, and he was very excited about it. We visited his classroom and met his teacher yesterday. He came out of his room ready to go this morning. Love that first child type-a thing! I wish I had more of it :)
And Cole... he wouldn't stand still for a photo. He's two.... what more can I say. I just took a bunch hoping that I'd get one where he isn't a blur! Cole cried when I left, but after dropping Samuel off at his classroom I walked back by Cole's room, and he was fine.
And Levi... He's going to get lots of attention on Mon/Wed mornings while his big brothers are at school. I'm not sure he knows what to do with undivided attention. Third children are so laid back.
More later... I do have some summer photos, and I'm hoping to get to adding them here soon. TTFN

Life moves FAST!
Amazing how almost 4 months have passed since my last post. We have been BUSY.... so I'll bring you up to date:
Levi is great. He is now 3 1/2 months old, is 15.5 lbs, and is a happy little guy. We had Levi's Baptism in Baltimore on 5/2, and it was great. My friend Gail Briolat is Levi's Godmother, and my brother-in-law Scott Wood is his Godfather.
We moved AGAIN! It was a very difficult to leave family, but we feel like we have made the right choice for us. Darin is now part owner of a spray foam insulation company here in Spring: Energy Assault Solutions. Spray foam is big down here because of the crazy heat (yeah, you know I'm loving that it's already consistently over 95 each day!). Darin spent April down here working while the boys and I stayed behind in Maryland. It was pretty hard to have him gone. During the month Darin was away, I went back to work 3 days/week. Mom and Dad were so much help to me during that time. Even more than they already had been - which was a lot! The boys missed their Daddy, and I really missed Darin too. Darin came up to Baltimore at the end of April, and we packed up and flew down to TX on 5/5. Darin found a house for us to rent, and it's really nice! Cute neighborhood with a pool and playground (essential!). We stayed with our friends - the Murthas - until we could get into our house and though it was crazy and loud (they have 5 kids + our 3) we had fun. We "moved in" on 5/11, and still have loads of boxes to unpack.
We have been to the pediatrician twice and to the ER once already! LOL. Samuel and Cole both had ear infections when we moved in, Levi has one now, and Darin took Cole to the ER last night because Cole was having trouble walking. The verdict: Toxic Synovitis - which in simple terms is an inflammation in the hip joint resulting from a virus (probably the cold he had). He will be OK - it goes away on it's own, and we just need to keep him in Ipubrofen for a few days. I had allergy testing again, and the good news is that some of my allergies are better as a result of the shots. I have developed some new ones though (of course). My new vials will be mixed soon, and I can restart my injections. I have no problem with that as long as it helps me stay symptom free. I am not working at this point but plan to look for something in lactation in the next few months. I found a preschool for Samuel and Cole, and they'll both start in the fall. Right now I'm just working on us getting settled, unpacked, and HEALTHY!
It has been an eventful and challenging year and 1/2. We pray that Darin's business does well and that all goes well for us in TX. We could really use some boring day-to-day life for a while. The pluses: Darin really loves his work, and the months of April and May were great ones business wise. We are back in an area where we have already lived which means that we have friends, a church, and know the area.
