Wishing everyone a happy Canada Day! My first attempt at red velvet cake... turned out a little mauvy... as if 2 tablespoons of red food colouring wasn't enough...

Sampling of my Canada Day 2014 sugar cookies...They even have red and white sprinkles in the dough! Used a homemade stencil for the maple leaves on the flags. The stencils turned out better than the RI transfers, and were MUCH quicker to make.
