Karen's Doodles - Oldies but Goodies

I have used Rosie Dance - a great image - she is so pretty! I LOVE elephants so of course I own every single Rosie image that Karen has created, I can't help myself!!! LOL

I used Emerald City CS (Bazzill) and the DP is from Basic Grey. I found a cool layout in my Card Maker magazine I wanted to use, so I gave it a whirl...I think it is a neat one!!!

Simon Says....BLOG HOP & Anything Goes!!!

This week at Simon Says, we have some fun for you!!!! In honour of Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog's 2nd Anniversary, we are having a BLOG HOP!!!! AND the challenge this week is ANYTHING GOES!!!! My favourite!!!! LOL

Here is my creation for this weeks challenge of ANYTHING GOES:

The CS is Emerald City by Bazzill (one piece left....sniff sniff sniff!!) and the DP is Almost Amethyst by SU. The flowers, ribbon, pearls and gems are all from my stash. The image is TILDA with LACE JEANS from Magnolia. I LOVE the fact that Simon now carries all the Magnolia stamps, including the MINIS! I only have a few, but they are TOO cute!!! I coloured her with Copics, which Simon also has a GREAT collection (& growing) of markers and refills!!!

RC Monster - Doodle Dragon Studios challenge

Me again!!! I am entering this card in the Doodle Dragon Studio challenge this week. The theme is to use the colours from Dustin's banner....so I chose pink, green, grey, and brown. The card base is Brilliant Blue (SU) and I tied in the rest of the colours in smaller details (ribbon, truck, remote, buttons, etc.) so hopefully this qualifies!!!

I made this card for Tim who was in a RC race - so this image was PERFECT. I nearly died when Dustin had it as a FREEBIE!!! It is so fitting for Tim! I even coloured the truck like his!! LOL

This week, the freebie this week is calledBullfrogs and Butterflies from Designed2Delight. It is a really cute image, that frog is so cute!! If you didn't get this freebie, head to the shop and pick it up, and start joining us for freebies EACH week!!!! It's so fun and SO addicting!!! LOL

The CS is Almost Amethyst and black (SU) and the DP is from SU as well. I coloured it all with Copics and added stickles to the flowers & the butterflies. The sentiment is a stamp from Gina K - Just Hippy set.

Entering the Stamp Fairy challenge .....

This is Herb...isn't he cute? He is for St. Patrick's Day but I am using him for a GOOD LUCK card for a teacher at my school who will be leaving us this year. I am entering him into The Stamp Fairy challenge this week, which is a recipe to follow: Sparkle, 3 Designer papers and 2 die cuts or punches.

The CS is Yo Yo Yellow and black (the circles) and the 3 different sheets of DP are all from The Grade School stack from DCWV from Simon Says Stamp. There is a little sparkle in the DP & on the heart on his pot. The punches I used were my circle punch and my keytag punch, both from SU. I coloured Herb with Copics and added some crystal lacquer to the coins.

Wish me luck this week - my fingers are crossed that this GOOD LUCK card will bring me some luck!!!! Wheeeee!!! LOL

Incy Wincy Designs challenge - Ribbons & Buttons

This week at Incy Wincy Designs challenge, we want to see your creations with RIBBONS & BUTTONS!!! Our sponsor this week is Sassy Studios, which is where I got Glowing Gwen. Isn't she pretty?

I coloured the image with Copics.I had fun colouring her, trying to get the lighting right was tricky but I think it turned out ok in the end!!! The CS is from Bazzill (can't remember the colour, sorry, but it really resembles Pacific Point from SU) and the other CS is from SU. The DP is from Basic Grey. I wanted to keep the card fairly clean, to showcase the gorgeous image. Inside, it simply says "Congratulations". The button & ribbon are from my stash!

Karen's Doodles Challenge - At the Beach

This week's challenge at Karen's Doodles is At the Beach! So we'd like to see your "beachy" projects!! The images I have used for this card are On the Beach and the background from the Tropical Party Set. I LOVE png files so you can create scenes, I just don't do it enough!!!! And aren't Rosie, Herbert & Bigsby so cute as little kids?? Love them!!!!

I coloured it with Copics and chalks, and added stickles to Rosie's swimsuit and crystal lacquer to the sun. The CS is my very last piece of Vintage Violet - a really old In Color piece and the background paper is from a travel pad I've had for ages - not even sure what company makes it! The ticket is from Tim Holtz - Token Words and the shell charms are from my stash!

The Corrosive Challenge -

Hello everyone!! Happy Sunday!!!!
This weeks challenge at The Corrosive Challenge blog is ANIMALS!!! It is a fun one with lots of room for creativeness!! Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Here is my card:

The CS is Bashful Blue (SU) and the DP is Basic Grey but for the life of me, I can't find the paper pack it came out of...it disappeared in this disaster of a desk!!! LOL The image is PIGS UMBRELLAS from The Stamp Fairy...aren't they the cutest?!?! The Happy Birthday is a metal epoxy sticker that I've had forever!
