Happy Tuesday everyone!! Hope everyone had an awesome weekend! My birthday was on Saturday and after I was up for a little bit  DH said "Do you want to go to Kohls?"  I said  "Say what?" I made him repeat it for I thought I heard him wrong!! How many hubbies get up and ask their wives if they want to go to Kohl's? hehe I know this was his conscious talking for he didn't get me a present, but that's ok I played dumb!! And let me tell ya when I was done shopping he probably wished he bought that present! I love, love, love Simply Vera clothing and Kohl's had lots of her things stocked....well, until I got there they did!

Today is a repeat of a card I made last year. The Greeting Challenge at The Outlawz is to use your favorite image, sentiment or colors! I used one of my favorite images and colors! The image is Sara K's, Spring Blossom from the 3rd collection. I love this image and one I have used over and over again for it is so versatile for any occasion.  And I am so ready for spring to get here and stay! Those few 70 degree days were awesome! Come on Spring!!

Speaking about The Outlawz!!  I gave it a brand new look this past week!!  Marti Willis designed my banner and did one awesome job! It is bright and cheerful and goes with the name perfectly! Marti is a saint for I have no knowledge of graphic designs...zilch, nada, none! Marti patiently helped me every step along the way until it was finally in place! She also designed my design team, members and feature badges and everything just looks super nice and friendly... I love it! I change the layout to look more crisp and bright with a soft lilac in the background. Come see!! Remember we have seven awesome challenges with a new one starting every single day!

Happy Sunday!! Just Chill'n

Happy Saturday everyone!! I love, love this weather!! Omgosh, it stayed in the 70's all night long and I had all the bedroom windows open! What a beautiful morning it was with the sun shining and a very slight breeze blowing the sheers! Ah, I was in heaven!!

Happy Wednesday

Happy Wednesday everyone!! I am in Pittsburgh and it is cold and rainy and I feel it clear to my bones! Monday,  my 3 year old grandson, Andrew had his tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. He is having a tough time of it, He won't drink and eat and needs the IV to keep him hydrated. Today he was up walking around but still refuses to put anything in his mouth that requires swallowing. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for him. I want him to come home!

My card was made over a month ago for The Outlawz party! That was a really good party!!

My image is an image I found on the web with the search words "cowgirl" and she is a coloring page for children...isn't she a hoot!! I asked DH to think of a sentiment and I just love what he came up with!!

My design paper is digital paper!! First time I have printed and used digital and love it! I purchased it  from  Peppermint Creative You. It's pretty cool for you can print out the size you need perfectly to the fraction of an inch...how cool is that! I cute the boots from the paper and added a healthy dose of Viva Gloss Gel

Hello and happy Friday everyone! Wow this week went fast didn't it? This is the last week of early sunsets and starting Sunday longer days!! Yehaw!! I can't wait for I so hate it when it get dark early. One time I totally forgot to set the clocks ahead and arrived at church as everyone was coming out!! My DH and I used to argue every single spring about how to set the clocks until I gave my clue away to him!!  Spring forward (Springtime clocks go ahead an hour) and Fall back! (Fall season you turn them back an hour!) Easy peasy!! LOL     

Have you been over to SCACD  to see the new Victoria Case collections yet. Yesiree! Two new collections: Sweet meets Sassy!!  I  love both of these collections! Modern vs Retro women! Below this posting, you can see Mrs. Cleaver!! Yeppers, that would be the Beaver's mom...at least that is what she reminds us of! The one I am using today is Scarlett Bonita!! Isn't she gorgeous! Oh I had fun making her today. You know how some cards just take you  all day to make?!! When I was finally done I said to my sweet, loving hubby "Well, Whatcha think?"  He looked at it and said "boring"  What? What do you mean boring? He said the whole thing was too blah! LMBO  So I hurried up and photograph it and sent it to two friends, who I know would give me very honest opinions!! Both wrote back "GORGEOUS!!" So my friends it's your decision! I changed a few things around and added some color and you tell me which one, out of the two do you like the best!!

SCACD Release Day!!

Hello everyone! Most of you probably thought I fallen off the face of the earth and in many ways I feel as though I have!! I went to visit my mother and father in Arizona and my mom's internet was not the greatest so I have lots of cards to post!

I won't be surprise if it becomes back in style like everything else has. Doesn't she have the prettiest face. The expression "coffee, tea or me" goes perfect with her coffee pot and endearing look!

I added Viva Decor  Gloss Gel Pen to the coffee pot to make it shiny. Hard to see in the picture and also Diva Decor Glitter pen to her shoes. This glitter pen has a very bright glittery shine to it.

Have you wanted to sew and didn't want to buy a sewing machine? Well let me tell yea! You don't need a sewing machine if you have Sew Easy!  The rotary stitch piercer creates perfectly spaced aligned holes that can easily be stitched up. I should have pulled my stitching a little bit tighter. Easy peasy to use!
