Ordered for a 60th birthday present
Website clearly states free returns no asterisk for further information
Unfortunately the rucksack was not suitable so had to be returned and the courier cost
had to be paid.
Website needs to be clearer regarding the free return policy and what areas/countries it covers

I love CABAIA's bags. I have 3 of small size backpacks. I've traveled all around the world with these beauties :D (Prag, Paris, Karlsruhe, San Francisco, San diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles & New York) Now i am about to be a mom and we are gonna explore the world with my little girl with Changing Bag of Cabaia :)

I LOVE their product, the only negative points I have is the delivery company they use (colis privé) which is not a reliable company (at least in my area). They systematically leave the parcel in front of my door, where anybody can just steal them. This even happened while I was home, they did not care to ring the bell. The bags are quite expensive and it would have sucked to have them stolen. This makes me question ordering there again. I just want to avoid colis privé at all costs.

Real brand, and a great one at that. Have ordered many times over the past years and will order many more in the future. Communication with the company works well, there have been zero issues with payment or delivery etc., and yes, the products fit the description, they´re good quality and they are as advertised. And obviously I love them, I´m building up a set ;-).

I love CABAI's bags

I love CABAIA's bags. I have 3 of small size backpacks. I LOVE their product

I LOVE their product, the only negative points I have is the delivery company they use (colis privé) which is not a reliable company (at least in my area). Excellent brand!

Real brand, and a great one at that. Have ordered many times over the past years and will order many more in the future. I received the Delhi bag as a graduation gift, before getting to actual bag, the packaging on itself was a whole experience, besides its sustainability, the care it shows all parties included in the process of delivery is beautiful, and the box can be your cats after taking the bag out!!! The bag in itself is outstandingly gorgeous, all the details thought through, there's absolutely every compartment you ill ever need, and as the travel enthusiast I am the support it gives your back is unlike any I have had.
Un excellent rapport qualité prix.

Dealt with them in June too.

Excellent Cabaia Work Team and highly recommend them and their products. Had nothing but the best service from the staff I have dealt with, so helpful and kind. Many companies could learn a lot from them!.

Happy Returning Customer

I just bought my 2nd backpack after 4years and my 1st cross-shoulder bag. I still find their products highly appealing and am so happy with my purchases. Also the lovely details, I found a lavender sachet in my new backpack 💜 Pure Joy 💜

The only reason why 4 stars is because all emails sent are in French as I do understand that the company is based in France, they do sell international so maybe emails also in English?
Company does live up to their guarantee 👍.

Perfect service

Perfect service. My bag had a Loonse stitch within a year. I bought it on holiday and had no receipt. The customerservice did everything to help me and i had to send my bag to CABAÏA and got a voucher for a new one.

The backpack is fantastic

The backpack is fantastic! I love the way it keeps its shape so my things don’t get all crumpled up inside. When you open it up, you can see everything inside so you don’t end up with a bunch of receipts and other junk hiding in the bottom of the bag. It also feels really secure. The anti-theft zippers are a great idea and the secure pocket is the perfect place to slip your phone and passport when traveling. I also had a great experience with customer service when I contacted them about the arrival time. They were extremely prompt and friendly in their reply.

The loveliest backpack I own

I couldn’t love this bag more! Obsessed is not even a big enough word! I’m always scrambling around in backpacks, trying to look for something hiding at the bottom, or not having the right pockets, or places to put my small items. This bag solves all of those problems and more. It is also utterly beautiful & and has received so many compliments & people asking where I got it.

Plus, customer service was amazing. It arrived quickly, beautifully packed, and with really thoughtful touches.

I am on the site on a daily basis now & at the same time trying to come up with any reasons why I need another bag 😆💕

Poor customer service

A few weeks ago I ordered a Cabaia backpack for my daughter to give on her birthday. Instead of taking the estimated 3 days to reach my house in Switzerland from the warehouse in France, in the end it took 18 days. Tracking said the package was stuck in the Swiss customs. I exchanged several emails with Cabaia customer service, and despite telling them several times that customs from France to Switzerland never takes more than a couple of days, they insisted that this was normal and that I wait.

I started calling around myself. I called the French post, then the Swiss post, and then the Swiss customs. Finally the customs office was able to tell me what the problem was: Cabaia had failed to specify the value of the goods on the customs form! So in the end I had to do this myself to get the package released to me. (and all three organisations confirmed that customs never takes more than a couple of days)

My daughter finally got her backpack, a week after her birthday. I sent one last email to Cabaia explaining all the work that I put in and my displeasure that it was caused by their error. They sent a polite response saying that they had been following procedure and that they hoped my daughter enjoyed her gift.

She did enjoy her gift, but I did not enjoy my experience. It would have cost them so little to actually listen to their customer (who was in fact, right!). They didn’t even acknowledge that they made an error. Beware!

Thank you for your response. Please note that my complaint is not about the problem with the customs declaration (mistakes do happen), but that Cabaia's customer service refused to admit that the delay was unusual, refused to look into the problem, and left it to me to sort out. That is poor customer service.

It's always tricky to know exactly what happened with a parcel but we are a little surprised by your comment as the value of the goods is automatically displayed on the customs form. We'll investigate furthermore in order to know if this situation is due to a bug but we are shipping worldwide everyday and this is the first time we hear about this type of issue.
