Being a single woman having to do this process alone, I was nervous about being around men by myself. The movers were kind, professional, respectful, and were clearly seasoned at their job. I felt safe and confident that my belongings would be taken care of. I was amazed at how thoughtful they were with my furniture and the physical endurance they had to get it all done. Another thoughtful extra mile they did without prompting was to fix anything they could that was broken or about to break. For example, my bed was not put together very well by the original person and parts were broken. When they put it back together they made the bed stronger and whole. I recommend Black Tie for their experience, going above and beyond, and personable demeanor. Thank you, Black Tie!

The guys did a great job however there were a lot of items left behind that my husband and I had to go back and get including our lawn mower; which was very difficult to load. It was two car loads full!! I didn’t think that was acceptable. Also our bed remote for our adjustable bed got lost in the move somehow and there is a gash in our new home door that wasn’t there before. I have called 3 times and sent an email to talk to a manager about all of these things and it is the 5th day since the move today and no one has called me back yet. This is why I am giving 3 stars. Mainly for the poor customer service on the back end

Excellent customer service from initial contact through delivery. Ben answered all of my pre move questions promptly & professionally. Jose called a few days prior to the move to confirm & answer any questions. Calob & Xavier, my moving crew, were on time, professional, caring of my furniture & property. They worked well together & seemed to enjoy their work. Thank you all.

Our moving crew was amazing!

Tobias and Keiterrious did an amazing job moving us across town. They were both very knowledgeable and efficient with the whole process. They wrapped up all of our furniture and handled everything with care. These guys were very professional and knew what they were doing!

Movers were moving slowly so that they could charge me more money per hour. They also didn’t put my computer desk in a right position. I will never recommend them for your move. Sales people lied to me about the price at $750 with 10% discount and ended up being $1935. Manager hanging up the phone and saying they didn’t have time to listen to my complaints. Good bless them for ripping me off.

Moving crew was methodical about packing furniture, beds, table. They were just as thoughtful when it came to unpacking the truck and setting everything back up. They worked well together as team which made the process go smoothly. I would highly recommend them for local moving needs.

We were moving from a small house with a LOT of boxes and antiques to a house double the size, with lots of stairs and in the July heat- not to mention, a monsoon. James H, Tobias and team were incredibly friendly, respectful, focused, and very hard workers. Even while they were soaked from the rain that dumped while we were moving in, they kept a positive attitude. I’d use them again IN A HEARTBEAT.

We just finished using black tie for our move. Their employees were very professional and very nice. They took great care of moving all of my items which included wrapping them before moving them. Can’t say enough about the service that we got. We definitely recommend them for the next move.

Black Tie made my move as easy as possible. They explained their services and the options I could choose. My moving team was professional, focused, caring, polite and was a pleasure to have in my homes. They took the time to wrap and protect everything. Nothing was scratched, broken, damaged or lost. Bed parts for 3 beds misplaced. Not enough truck space for furniture. 85 inch television screen broke. Table leg was broken off and not repairable. Various pieces of furniture/appliances scratched or chipped. Packing trucks with home contents of a 3600 sq ft home took 12 hours.

I liked Black Tie when I used them last October so I was excited to use y'all again, but this experience was overall much worse. Movers were inefficient, slow-moving, and generally making it seem like they were just running the clock. I only had furniture to move from a 2 bed apt and it took them 2.5 hours to load. Me and my husband started moving stuff ourselves with our personal dolly because they were so slow moving. Will not recommend to others. Although it's a bummer since my first (and only other) experience with Black Tie was so great!

Two guys were good/hard working, one guy had to be substituted halfway through the move which did not help efficiency (but he was slow and not really working much anyway) and a fourth was a one man wrecking ball. The two guys should get a raise for being good, loyal employees, and the substitute who came in halfway through worked hard.
