Meesha | Furniture Flips | DIY Home on Instagram: "The process 👇🏾 Paint washing is a great way to update a piece of furniture without painting or staining it. This technique lets you update your pieces while still showcasing the beautiful wood grain. After removing the finish and sanding the raw wood smooth, mix paint and water (I usually 50/50, but you can change it up depending on how much color you want). Wipe it back, top coat, and you’re done! You can add multiple layers of paint wash and can even layer different colors for extra depth (you can do one layer in a lighter wash then follow up with a darker wash to enhance the grain).
