Whilst these vessels won’t be the most stable you’ve used; they’ll make up for it with their complex shape. Thrown from 295 grams using pointers of my throwing gauge to a height of 12.5 cm by 9.5 cm wide. One pointer is for the rim, like normal, whilst the second marks the widest section of the pot’s waist, this helps me repetitively throw these complicated shapes more easily.   I feel like pulling the handles on these is going to be a greater challenge though. I’m not entirely sure where to attach and pull them from the cup’s form, whether it should flow up and away from one of the inward slops at the top, or dodge any of the sharper edges entirely so they remain present an Florian Gadsby, Ceramic Projects, Ceramics Projects, The Works, Dodge, It Works, Handles, Make Up, Mug
