G-Max Gold Rush (Japanese: キョダイコバン Kyodai Koban) is a damage-dealing Normal-type G-Max Move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the exclusive G-Max Move of Gigantamax Meowth.
Effect
G-Max Gold Rush inflicts damage, confuses the opponent, and scatters coins on the ground. These coins are picked up after the battle.
The amount of money earned each time is equal to 100× the user's level and stacks with either the Amulet Coin or Luck Incense. If used in succession, the amount of money earned increases by another 100× the user's level each time, up to a possible 300× the user's level on the third and final Dynamax turn and a possible 600× the user's level in total. However, the total amount of money that can be collected using G-Max Gold Rush is capped at $99,999 each battle (which can possibly be achieved if the user is Lv. 84 or higher).
G-Max Gold Rush and Pay Day share the $99,999 cap, so if G-Max Gold Rush reaches the cap, Pay Day will still display the "Coins were scattered everywhere!" message but will not award any more coins.[1]
If G-Max Gold Rush is used during a Max Raid Battle, the "Coins were scattered everywhere!" message will not be displayed and money will not be earned after the battle.
Its power and whether it is a special or physical move depends on the move it is based on.
