Azumarill (Japanese: マリルリ Marilli) is a character in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity who runs the Request Counter at Pokémon Paradise.

Role

Azumarill's service is to handle job requests. Handing Azumarill a job request will cause her to open one of the request gates and allow the player to go on the mission. She may also inform the player about certain objectives that need to be fulfilled to go on the mission. By speaking to her after accepting a job request, the player is given the option to have Azumarill cancel the job.

If the player is in Companion (Multiplayer) Mode, Azumarill will wait for all players to accept the mission.

Trivia

  • Azumarill is not present in the Japanese animated trailer. The segment where she opens the request gate for the player and partner was made solely for the English trailer.
