I ate about 2400 cal a day which was a 500 cal deficit at the time for me. That helped me lose about 1-2lbs a week. I wasn’t really disciplined or motivated, just consistent. Consistency has given us way more success stories than perfection ever has. Here’s how to play the game:

1. Find the TOTAL calories your body burns in a day. Use a TDEE calculator like the one in my bio. TDEE: 3000 calories. You can ignore the other macros and aim for at least 80g of protein.
2. Subtract 200-500 from the number the TDEE calculator gives you and that should be your calorie range you should eat in a day to lose weight. Eat: 2500-2800 calories day. I'm sure you've heard of the "80/20 Rule;" This "Rule" states that 80% of our diet should come from healthy whole food sources While 20% can come from treats and maybe not as healthy foods. By following this "Rule," we will maintain a healthy body (and mind!) But what does it really look like in terms of the foods we eat? For ease of calculations, if we're eating 2000 Cal/day, 20% could look like: 400-500 Cal treat daily 800-900 Cal treat 3x/wk 2000-2500 Cal treat 1x/wk Hope this helps 💖 80/20 Diet Plan, 80/20 Diet, 80/20 Rule, 80 20 Rule Diet, 80 20 Diet, Healthy Body And Mind, Food Calorie Chart, Calorie Chart, Food Rations

Most people don’t account for calories in tea (and the snacks on the side)… 360 calories is around 25% of total caloric need for most people. 2 digestive biscuits, little Bhujiya and nuts can easily take you into surplus (more than you burn in a day). It can be the reason why you ain’t making progress with weight loss. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Tea (or any other food) doesn’t make us fat… it’s about total caloric intake/expenditure over a period of time.
