Last week, the crew and I loaded up in the 2017 Mazda6, and hit the road for a weekend getaway to Talking Rock, Georgia - a quaint little town, about 1.5 hours outside of Atlanta. A cabin tucked away in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains, made for a nice escape from the city.

Town of Talking Rock is located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains right off Hwy. 515 towards Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Heritage Days Festival is annual fall event on the third weekend of October. Talking Rock park features pavilion, playground, picnic tables, grills, and nature trails nestled between Talking Rock Creek and the railroad. Talking Rock Pavilion is available for rentals.
