People fear what they do not understand—and they fear me. I’m used to it. From the moment I was born, my red skin, gleaming eyes, and curling horns marked me as different. Unwanted. But fear can be a powerful tool when wielded correctly, and I’ve become quite the master of it. I learned early on that people are simple creatures, driven by their desires, fears, and weaknesses. And I? I’m all too happy to exploit every single one of them.
