Ashley Owens on Instagram: "One more bleach dyeing tutorial!! And this one was a little more special because it reminds me of my weaving roots. Here’s how to achieve this woven pattern:

1) Take a small block of wood and wrap your string around it in a haphazard way to create crisscrosses for a more intricate pattern or evenly across for a more even pattern. Tie the two ends together along the back of the block.

2) Make a 1:1 ratio of water and bleach and put it in a shallow plate.

3) Tap the block in the bleach mix just enough to get the string all covered in the bleach. Have a junk towel next to you so you can tap the block onto it and get off any excess bleach. I did not do this which resulted in the thicker bleached areas so learn from my mistake!

SHAYNA ALNWICK on Instagram: "The EASIEST DIY anyone can do!! 🤯 Comment “LINK” and I’ll DM you everything I used to make this fabric mirror 🪞 I wanted to add some texture, color and visual interest to my DIY credenza so I thought wrapping an old mirror in fabric would do the trick and it sure did! It looks AMAZING!! 😍 1. Detach the mirror from the frame 2. Use the spray tack but make sure it’s tacky!! 3. Lay down the fabric (I suggest choosing a linen or cotton fabric!) 4. Allow to dry and re-attach the mirror 5. Flip it back over and glue the excess fabric to the back! 6.
