I have used Kota porcelain here which is great for this form! It’s a translucent clay great for pumpkins and ghost luminaries! You could find it and more at @claykingceramics Thanks clay king 👑@claykingceramics👑 for sponsoring this post! Kim Lê on Instagram: "A cylinder single stem vase, thrown on the wheel. To achieve this shape, I throw a normal cylinder, which I then narrow from the outside, starting from the bottom and trying to bring both hands up evenly across the height. I use a stick with a sponge when I pass the rib, so I can remove the slip without the cylinder coming off centre. Generally speaking, once thrown, the cylinder is always more or less wider at the base and its shape is not quite perfectly vertical yet.
