The_Psychiatrist’s_Garden on Instagram: "CALADIUMS!!! How I plant them. In early May I plant Caladium tubers. The soil needs to average 65 degrees for them to start growing. For warmer zones I do recommend tubers over starter plants. I dig a shallow hole (only 2-4 inches deep) & then throw them in. I try to space them a few inches apart, but don’t fuss over it. I do groupings about 1.5-2 feet apart. Cover with a little mulch if I think about it. 4-6 weeks after planting they begin to emerge. For me they last through September, often into early October. They are Annuals here in 7b, but I lift and store as many tubers as I can each year. #caladiums #foliage #gardenplants #plants #planting #plantingdesign #plantlove #summergarden #gardeninglife #gardeningtips #mygarden #inmygarden #in Caladiums Landscaping, Caladium Garden, Caladium Plants, Starter Plants, Window Boxes, Think About It, The Soil, May I, Plant Design
