My husband, @petertags32 loves snacking, and instead of letting just any old muffin into my house I’ve started baking high #fiber, added #protein #muffins, every two weeks to keep him healthier. 

Here is a brief overview of what you can expect when you make these #bran muffins :

1. Mix the wheat bran and buttermilk. Let the mixture stand.
2. Beat the remaining wet ingredients together, then stir them into the buttermilk mixture.
3. Add the dry ingredients. Fold in the raisins.
4. Spoon the batter into a prepared muffin tin.
5. Bake in the preheated oven until the tops spring back when lightly touched.

Ingredients 
(I QUADRUPLE this recipe to make 40 at a time)
* 	1 ½ cups wheat bran
* 	1 cup buttermilk
