Pew-pew with a PU
Mosin with a 3.5x PU scope.
This is my burka. There are many like it…
Soviet “Ameba” suit often used by snipers during WW2. Mosin 91/30 rifle with 3.5x PU scope.
Most guns will do if you will
Out of these three rifles, I’d have to go with the SKS by preference. SVT40 has a harsh recoil and complex disassembly, K31 has an awkward safety and the paper/foil clips have to be oriented in a specific way for … Continue reading

Tall and slender boomstick.
One of the many cute and curious sights of Knoxville, TN. I can’t quite decide if SVD form is beautiful or just odd. The form of the shooter is more obviously graceful. Wolf Arms

Teenagers with rifles
These little girls are 16 and 14 respectively. Both a proficient shooters. What’s more important is that they are intelligent and well socialized, coming across as grad students rather than as kids. I think their parents would be justified in … Continue reading

How to shoot 7.62x54R and not feel much recoil
Just back from Knoxville where I got to hang out with Sayuncle, Dennis Badurina, Evie (in the video below) and several new friends. Went to shoot with WPA. Based on the experience, I now want an ITT hydraulic stock buffer … Continue reading

M39 Finnish Mosin
Shown with a typical Finnish marksman. For those who hand-load 7.62x54R for maximum accuracy, I recommend my friend John’s Western Bullet Co. as the source of reloadable brass. Most .312 bullets work well in these.
