Choc-Orange

Just like colour combinations, there are certain flavour combinations that are considered classics, such as chocolate and orange. Mmmmmm.... Here in Australia, we have a number of popular products with the choc-orange combination. Needless to say, I'm a fan of them all!

Deanne has added a couple of different mediums to the coloured image on her card, including a fabulous sparkle over the raspberries and a shiny gloss on the blueberries. Along with a great shine, the mediums also add a little more texture and dimension.

Let's Eat Cake!

A fun way to decorate a cupcake is with little spots of liquid mediums. Not only do you get fabulously bright colours, but also a nice shine and some added texture.

Cupcake Easel Card

Easel cards are probably my favourite type of fancy fold. They look fabulous, are relatively simple to make and can be altered to suit just about any image, shape or size, such as this cupcake.

I took a bit of time to carefully position my cupcake so it didn't overhang the edges of the card when folded. I also wanted it to look good when it first comes out of the envelope so I added a little of the patterned paper onto the easel section to try to camouflage it as much as possible.

Coffee With Judy

Hanging Sentiment

For something a little different, I stamped a sentiment on both sides of a circle of card stock and hung it from a paper tag. I set eyelets in both the circle and the tag and strung them together with three interconnected jump rings. To allow the sentiment to swing free, I added a piece of foam tape to the tag, just above the eyelet.

The Last Card...

When I received the new Celebrations clear stamp set I went straight to work and stamped a whole page of the little gifts in my watercolour pad. This is the last coloured image that was waiting to be made up into a card.

June Challenge

PLEASE READ THE CONDITIONS CAREFULLY

PRIOR TO ENTERING THE CHALLENGE

Create a card or paper-craft project using any Beccy's Place image, upload a photo of it to your blog and submit a direct link below. The challenge runs from now until midnight on the 30th of June 2016 (AEST).

Your project must be created during the month of June 2016.  You can enter as many times as you like and you can submit your card to any other challenge you wish. At the end of the month three random winners will be chosen to receive their choice of either a full set of digital stamps or three individual digital images from my online store.

Each month I will include a re-mastered digital image from my library of freebies, as well as a new, coordinating 12" x 12" digital paper.  You DO NOT have to use these particular items on your project, but you MUST use a Beccy's Place image, either free or purchased, to be eligible for entry.

Beccy's Place designers may enter the monthly challenge but are not eligible to win prizes.
