Assumpta Camps

Assumpta Camps Ph.D. is Full Professor of Italian Literature, Language and Culture, as well as Literary Translation and Reception of the Italian Literature, at the University of Barcelona. She holds the Chair of Italian Philology in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at this university. Her main research areas are Translation Studies, Translation Theory and Gender Studies, Comparative Literature, Reception of Italian Literature in the Hispanic world, and Italian Literature and Culture. She has written many many articles and papers, and has authored several volumes, including Reception of Gabriele D'Annunzio in Catalonia, 2 vols.
