It discusses personal life, work and training experiences. The reason I would like to publish such a work is to encourage students in Greece, where the field of Counselling Psychology is less developed, to consider this kind of specialization, as well as to continuously enhance their professional identity, assimilating both practice and research opportunities, throughout their career paths. The paper focuses on three major influences in my development and training in the field: (a) graduate experiences as a doctoral student, writing a thesis on women's professional development, (b) work experiences in a career center of a large academic institution, and (c) academic and instructional experiences in a School of Psychology, where I teach and supervise research of both undergraduate and graduate students. The above influences delineate three separate, yet integrating identities: the identity of a feminist, the identity of a practitioner, and the identity of a researcher and instructor in the academia-that is, the identity of a scientist. My intention is to show how these three identities have been well integrated all these years, improving continuously my level of work in each and every dimension.

The present paper focuses on how women discursively construct sexist comments as a cause for reaction, drawing upon a discourse of resistance, while sculpting a combative subject position. The 30 women who participated in the study took part voluntarily in individual semi-structured interviews, in order to share their views and experiences in relation to spoken sexism. For the analyses of the material, post-structuralism was taken as epistemological approach, while a Foucauldian discourse analysis (FDA) was used for the portrayal of the discourses. Due to the gendered nature of the subject under discussion and in acknowledgement that spoken sexism is discursively constructed within patriarchal structures of power, a feminist perspective was upheld in relation to the interpretation and discussion of the results. The findings reveal not only the resilient nature of sex-based oppression but also an increase in awareness as well as responsibility regarding the issue of spoken sexism.

The present study evaluated the effectiveness of such a schoolbased European funded preventive program (TABBY, Threat Assessment of Bullying Behavior in Youth) among sixth graders with and without special educational needs (SEN). The study also examined the predictive role of selfesteem in students' cyberbullying involvement. Overall, 240 students from randomly selected Greek schools completed a self-report questionnaire, which included a scale on cyberbullying and self-esteem. Following an experimental longitudinal research design, the intervention was applied to the experimental (N = 120) but not to the control group of students (N = 120). Each group consisted of both students with (N = 60) and without SEN (N = 60). The evaluation was based on the completion of the self-report questionnaire before (1 st phase), immediately after (2 nd phase), and 6 months after the intervention was completed (3 rd phase) by trained general and special education teachers. According to the findings, students' cyberbullying engagement (as bullies/ victims) decreased significantly in the second and third phase, and especially for those with SEN. Additionally, self-esteem negatively predicted students' involvement in cyberbullying (as bullies/victims) in all three phases. The findings partially support the appropriateness of interventions within the elementary school context in order to enhance self-esteem and promote a safe online culture among students of typical as well as atypical development.

Consequently, it aims to highlight the ways in which gender intersects with other identificatory categories, shaping the experiences of individuals, especially those belonging to disadvantaged groups. The papers presented in the issue demonstrate that intersectionality reflects the reality of life while being at the same time, an important 'tool' for understanding the complexity of the human experience. It is expected that the special section will contribute, both at a research and clinical level, to a critical review of traditional theories and methods in Psychology, providing an impetus for further research which will take into consideration both cultural (e.g., social norms, stereotypes, etc.) and social (e.g., power structures) contexts in the study of individual behavior and experience.

Overall, 2,134 students (70.5% women), both undergraduates (81%) and postgraduates (19%), completed a self-reported online questionnaire regarding the variables involved (sexual harassment, consequences, and resilience). According to the results, the most prevailing types of sexually harassing behaviors, which were experienced mainly by women students, included offensive sexual comments/jokes/stories, inappropriate comments about one's body/appearance/sex life, as well as obscene ways of staring, obscene gestures, and/or exposure of body parts causing embarrassment. Accordingly, the perceived psycho-emotional and academic consequences of sexual harassment were more pronounced in the case of women. Furthermore, psychological resilience...

The study involved 252 students (233 women, 19 men) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. They completed a self-report questionnaire, which included a short version of a scale on resilience (The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale - CD-RISC), a scale on perceived economic hardship (Economic Hardship Questionnaire), and a scale on Internet Addiction (Internet Addiction Test). The results showed that students of Psychology, regardless of their academic year, make above-average/normal and excessive/addictive internet use displaying indicative behaviors (e.g., uncontrollable internet use, neglect of social life). Furthermore, based on the path analysis models, it seemed that students’ resilience is a negative predictor of above-average/normal and excessive/addictive internet use (and their indicativ...

Catcalling is defined as a form of forced communication directed at strangers in public, both verbal and non-verbal and almost exclusively from men towards women. The content of this forced communication is usually sexual in nature. A qualitative research approach was used for the collection, the processing, and the analyses of the data. Thirty women participated voluntarily in individual semi-structured interviews. A Foucauldian discourse analysis (FDA) was deemed as the most appropriate methodology for portraying the discourses that the participants employed when constructing and interpreting catcalling. In their narratives, they drew upon a discourse on violence against women, which highlights the subordinate position that women occupy in patriarchy. In detail, they discursively constructed catcalls as a "violation of personal space" and as a "threat for sexual assault". At the same time, they sculpted differentiated subject positions for the perpetrators and for the victims of catcalling. The above findings provide a new understanding of how catcalling relates to misogyny and sex-based discrimination and thus, are crucial for promoting equality between women and men.
