Skin tissue

Epithelial tissues serve many purposes such as protection, secretion, absorbs, and filters what goes through cavities. There are many types of epithelial tissues, such as the epidermis (which is the outer layer of the skin). Epithelial tissues protects the body from bacteria. The epithelial tissues actually removes dust that is ingested during respiration. WOW! Note worthy!

This tissue is made of white and clear cells that store fat droplets, so wherever there is fat there is adipose tissue! This tissue with fat insulates the body and provides cushion and energy. One can identify this tissue by its big white circles that represent the fat cells in the body. An issue with this can become if there becomes too much/big of adipose tissue created because that then would result in obesity.

Epithelial Tissue. Epithelial tissue covers the body’s outer surface and lines the internal closed cavities (including blood vessels) and body tubes that communicate with the exterior (gastrointestinal, respiratory, and genitourinary tracts).
