Eye contact

Eyes are the window to your soul. They tell me everything you are afraid to tell me, but already know. You look at me in a different way than you look at anyone else. I could get lost in your eyes for days and never mind. When we look at each other, time stops... we no longer care where we are, what we're doing, what time it is, because we're lost in that moment in time. Our eye contact goes on forever and we never want it to stop....I've never felt that way with anyone else

Besides the fact that you are gone because of me, I think what hurts the most is that deep down I thought I might have meant a little something to you. I know you said everything, I guess there was a part of me that hoped you were just putting up your walls and if I stayed long I enough and didn’t leave that you would lower them to let me in a little.
