A drapey fabric wont give you the same balloon (it will make a beautiful sleeve but without the “puff”) so think raw silk, taffeta, organza etc when you want to go big. This sleeve was just over a meter wide and around 22 inches deep. Details: 🩷When you stitch the side seams use a regular stitch length until you get to your desired notch (this is totally up to you- could be a couple inches just so the ribbons can be tied up or longer for a more dramatic opening).
