When creating this riding arena, we considered air flow, lighting, materials, the safety of horse and rider, and ease of access to the facility. With arched open-air windows on one side, and large fans overhead, air flow is never a problem. In fact, “garage doors” can be opened on the opposite length of the arena to make it a pavilion setting for maximum breeze. Large windows and skylights bring in plenty of light, while hand-bent wood bumpers keep horses safely away from the outside walls.

If you can't decide whether to build an indoor or outdoor riding arena, don't! Get the best of both worlds. Fully enclosed when all of its doors and windows are shut, this arena has oversized “garage doors” that can be opened up to let in the fresh air.
