EasyEdit - Design Resources & Tutorials on Instagram: "This effect is called Bitmap and here’s how to create it in Photoshop!  Add your image and go to Curves. Set the curves to increase the contrast for a better result. Go to image size and reduce it. Now, switch the mode to Grayscale, and to Bitmap. Set the output to 100, frequency to 100, angle to 45 and shape to Cross. Switch the mode back to Grayscale with a size ratio of 1.  Now select an RGB Color mode, so we can apply gradients. Add a new layer and pick the gradient colors you like. Hold Shift to draw a gradient. Set the suitable blending mode and your bitmap effect is ready!
