Hi everyone! I’m Sharon from “That Girl Fritchey!" I'm very excited to be hosting for Art Journal Journey Monthly for the first time. Here’s a little bit about me: I live in a small town in eastern Pennsylvania, USA, with my husband and our rescued dog. I am a retired registered nurse and have 2 grown daughters, one in college and one living on her own. I got interested in paper crafting after we adopted our youngest daughter from China 20 years ago, and I haven’t stopped since. My style has evolved over the years as I watched my daughters grow up. I found that I love the creativity that art journaling and mixed media scrapbooking provide me and cannot wait to share my pages with all of you this month!
My theme for December is “Snow!” You can interpret it many ways! You can make your pages about snowfall, snow storms, snow flakes, Christmas snow, etc. Or you can use your imagination, for instance you can make a page about “the snowball effect.” I am looking forward to seeing all of your projects. My first page is a 12 x 12 mixed media scrapbook layout about a snow fall that we had last December!
