December Challenge

Secondly, wishing all of you the blessings of Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Our picture for December is this one.

Your challenge this month is Mixed Media-

 Use sprays inks, mists, paint, stamps, gelatos anything else you can think of to create your background.

Your prize is another bundle of Christmas items. It includes a mini album plus assorted papers etc to complete your project.

Our winner for last month was Kim Kendall.

Now let's look at how this challenge has inspired our team.

                                        She used water colour crayons plus inks on her background which is textured.

                                         Trish used lots of sprays, mists and waxes on here.

                                      She used sprays plus a beaded texture on her background and texture paste on her flowers.

Texture paste plus paint on my background plus stamping.

A white paint wash then stamping using bubble wrap dipped in gesso.

           Blowing black ink through a straw and dragging a black ink pad in layers across the middle.

November Challenge

 We have a colour challenge for November.

Here's our picture a nice place to live but you wouldn't want to be a sleepwalker.!

Someone pointed out you could dive straight into the ocean from there.

I've made a colour chart for this. YOU MUST USE ALL 4 COLOURS

Neutrals like black, white and Kraft are ok in small doses. 

                                           What you scrapbook is up to you.

Back in 2004 I had this layout published in Scrapbook Creations. 

You could use the wet and tear technique as well. I've also done it dry, but the cardstock doesn't curl as well.
