In the late 90's we began selling our Shetland Supreme Jumper Weight, a dedicated range of 9 completely undyed 100% Real Shetland Wool shades in the same weight as our 2ply Jumper Weight. Throughout the year, and mainly in the quieter months we spend time sorting the coloured fleece for our undyed ranges as they contain so many different colours - sometimes even within a fleece! The Shetland Wool Week patron for 2020 has been named today as Shetland knitwear designer, Wilma Malcolmson, who is internationally renowned for her skilfully blended Fair Isle knitwear. The much-anticipated annual hat pattern, which is now synonymous with the launch of the patron has also been released. This year’s official hat, designed by Wilma, is called ‘Katie’s Kep’.
