Wedding cake card

Today I can show you a wedding cake box card I made

for my cousin and her husband last week.

Every time I make a box card of any type I wonder

why I don't do it more often.

It's easy to make and I'm usually satisfied with the result,

..... at least more often than a plain card =)

I made the bottom of the box with two die cuts like the one I used for the tag.

I'm entering this card into these challenges:

I can't promise to post more often at the moment,as my "kids" have summer holliday now.

And I also love to sit outside in the sunshine with a 

small embroidery or knitting this time of the year.

A wedding card /Et bryllupskort

Til ukas utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage har jeg laget et bryllupskort med to søte bjørner.Utfordringen er en skisse og/eller bruk av metall.

To this week challenge over at the Pixie Cottage I have made a wedding card with two cute bears. This weeks challenge is a sketch and/or us of metal.

Once upon a wednesday....

Jeg synes onsdagen kommer tettere og tettere jeg? På denne tiden av året flyr regelrett dagene fra en, i allefall for meg. Og da kommer jo sommeren raskere på pletten også! I forrige uke hadde vi 4 cm nysnø. Skulle ikke vært lov!! Men NÅ kommer sommeren snart =)

I helga hadde vi konfirmasjon for datteren i huset også. Det er godt å kunne senke skuldrene som etterhvert føltes at de var oppunder ørene. Dagen ble flott og konfirmanten strålende fornøyd. Jeg fikk til og med laget et kort til henne... det ble i siste liten, var ferdig KL 0030 *knis* noen som sa håpløs? Det er på grensen til at jeg kan signere den ja =) Eskekortet jeg laget legger jeg ut her i løpet av de nærmeste dagene. Så dersom du har lyst til å se det, er du velkommen tilbake!

Men nå er det altså onsdag, og det betyr ny utfordring hos the Pixie Cottage. Denne gangen har vi også fått en skisse fra en spesiell gjest, hun heter Suzanne Dean. Det er verdt å ta en tur innom bloggen hennes, du finner den her.

I think wednesdays are coming faster and faster? And at this time of the year time flies even faster, anyway it does for me. And that means that the summer arrives faster, me like =) Last week we had almost 2 inches of snow. It should have been forbidden!! But I believe in the summer =)

This weekend we arranged or daughters confirmation. So it feels good to slow down for some days. The day was super and or daughter satisfied, even with my song I think. And I finnaly managed to make her a card as well, done 30 minutes past midnight *gigle* someone who called me hopeless? I can nearly sign that one =)

But over for todays challenge at the Pixie Cottage. This week we also have a special guest sketch artist, Suzanne Dean. You can use her lovely sketch or use something vintage/ distressed or both if you like.
