 I had fun creating a different type of Fairy card with this one, usually I would go for pastel style colors.  I am in the mood for a more seasonal fairy today- so I used more natural, earth tone colors.  I used a few die cuts and accented with some new flowers from Wild Orchid.  I also threw on some wooden cogs and clock.

Lite Bright by Stitchy Bear Stamps

I have made a card using the festive image Lite Bright

For my Sparkle and Glitter- I used a red glitter paper by Doodlebug to cover a wood shaped embellishment- this lifted the tree image and gave a 3D look to the card.  I also used glossy accents on the star and the light bulbs.  Then to finish off the look I used Stickles on the holly leaves.

Are you familiar with Faery Ink?  Absolutely adorable images and she always has FREEBIES

 This was a freebie and I have entered her in the Facebook Challenge at Faery Ink.

She was a lot of fun to color with my Copic markers- the wings did not photograph well, But they have a little purple tint with some clear Wink of Stella.  I also used some Graphic 45 paper- always a beautiful addition to any project.

Autumn Melancholy Moppet by Lacy Sunshine

Happy Sunday!!

It's a lazy day here in Arizona today- lots of football on the TV for the guys, so I am crafting and blogging!  Good times!

I am sharing an Autumn/Fall card just for the fun of it.  I adore this image, Autumn Melancholy Moppet by Lacy Sunshine.

 I really enjoyed this color palette- I picked my paper first and then colored her accordingly (using my Copic's).  I hope it inspires some Autumn/Fall projects for you too!

Reindeer Eve box card

Hi there,

Today it is my turn to host over at the Artbymiran Showcase Blog.

I want to share the image Reindeer Eve- she is available in rubber at Whimsy Stamps.

Our theme this month is box cards.

This is my first ever box card- I followed a tutorial online and it came out pretty good.  I will  be making more, for sure.  I colored the adorable image with my Copic markers and then fussy cut her to fit on the card.

911 Never Forget by Bugaboo

It's a fun  new challenge at CCC Digi Creations

The theme is Anything Goes- so hop on over and enter!!

I am using the image named 911 Never Forget.

I saw this image and it struck me...since this challenge is in September...I thought it was a perfect time to create something to honor September 11, 2001.

There are so many stories and memories from that day and the following weeks, but what still resonates with me is seeing the American flag everywhere I went.

So I made a frame and enclosed the image inside.  I bought a $1 wooden frame at the craft store and painted it white....then I covered it in  patriotic paper from my stash...I added a die-cut banner and also many die-cut stars to finish it off.

This will now hang in my home and remind my family how much we have to be grateful for everyday, living in the USA.
