2020 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop - Final Day!

Well, this is the last day of the 2020 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop.
I have enjoyed this challenge a lot!

Dug into my stash of stamps and found a There She Goes coffee stamp set! [Yeah, I totally forgot about it.]  Since the poor thing hasn't been used in ions, I used it for today's card.

I also used an older Recollections stamp set for the water colored background, and the fun tiny Red Bird on the cup sleeve.

That's it!  Another successful challenge completed.  I have had a blast making my own cards, along with checking out what other stampers have uploaded.  Did you play in this challenge?

2020 Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop - Day 6

On to Day 6 of the Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Hop.  For my card today I used the CAS-ual Fridays To Go Cup Fri-Die.  I love this cup - it is the perfect size for the front of my card.  [Just FYI, it is on sale, and if you use my code VICKISENTME, you can save an additional 15% off!  That makes this die set only $11.45!  Score 😀]

I'm not sure who's this HB die is, but I do like it.  [If you know, please let me know so I can link future uses]

That's it for my day upload.  I will be back tomorrow to another fun coffee card.

Fun with Friends Coffee Hop

Today, some stampers have gotten together for a super fun coffee hop. Working for Starbucks for the last 15 years, of course I had to play along!  Chaitali Narla has a Linky over on her blog, Cuts, Crops & Creativity, so everyone who wants to join in can!  There are tons of prizes to be won too!  [That is always the fun part, right?]

I used a deboss technique with my embossing folder inked up for my background, and used the only coffee cup I have from There She Goes, Let's Get Together.  [To find this set, you will have to Google it since TSG is OOB].  Went a tad crazy with the super bright green, but that is the way I work!

Virginia suggested we answer a few coffee questions:

When did you start drinking coffee?  I was 16 and "cool"
Do you have a favorite brand of coffee?  You betcha - Starbucks Verona.
Have you ever had an amazing cup of coffee?  I had some Christmas Blend that my mil had a few years ago -- LOVED it, have no idea who made it ;(
What happens if you don't get your coffee?  I get a huge caffeine headache and I am exhausted! [No addiction here folks! :)]

I also needed some Thank You cards for my customers.  Because I need quite a few, I kept it really simple.

Now, grab your cup of Joe, and pop on over to the hop to play along, or just have some fun looking at coffee cards!

Finally!

Gosh I have been so crazy busy creating cards for my DT work, I haven't been able to get my fix with challenges!

I got a new Hero Arts stamp, Tiny Flags and have been wanting to use it.  Today I found the perfect 2 challenges!  A Blog Named Hero #50; ombre, a new to me challenge, Friday Mashup 174, bokeh, and also, Paper Crafting Challenge 17; sequins. My sentiment is from Avery Elle, Brushed.

You all know me, one card simply is not enough!  I went on to play in Freshly Made Sketches 150, and CASology 109; java. [coffee? I am so there!]

I used my favorite coffee set, There She Goes, Let's Get Together, along with another new [to me] fun set, MFT, Say What.  (Sorry guys no linking available since both these sets are no longer available)

I had a super morning -- thanks all for the great challenges!! :)

Addicted To CAS #32

Needless to say, Deepti's theme for Addicted to CAS these next 2 weeks, is totally me!

We are being sponsored by:

I used my favorite There She Goes, Let's Get Together coffee set. [OOB] LOVE this mug - so close to Starbucks~  I would love to add the Siren's Eye on the cup, but it is copywrited, so I stamped a city scene instead.  Kind of fun - perfect for my friends!

Come on over to Addicted to CAS to see the team samples, and then play along!  We can't wait to see what you create~

SCS Color Challenge #454

It's my week over at SCS Color Challenge.  This week I chose Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze and Night of Navy, with a dessert of a hot drink.

I used an older stamp set from There She Goes, Let's Get Together.  Cool that they still have this set -- I got it like 5 years ago!

Come on over SCS Color Challenge!  I would love to see what you create - let me know you were invited from my blog~

SCS Color Challenge and Others

Mary, over at SCS for the color challenge this week  picked Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, and Rose Red with a dessert of Valentine's Day.  I used the sketch from Wee Memories.

It is the last challenge for this site, as Jessica is moving on to other adventures.  One of their sponsors is There She Goes, which was perfect!  I had purchased this set Let's Get Together a couple of months ago, and haven't used it yet!  Being the coffee person I am, I can't believe I didn't use it sooner!  Anyway, the sketch worked perfect to highlight my awesome cup!  (So reminds me of Starbucks)  My sentiment is from Verve Making a Statement.

This next card is a goal I have set for myself; to play every month in the Sketch For You To Try by Jan Del Muro. I love this girl's talent, and her sketches are fabulous. I just didn't do enough of them last year!  So, here is January's:

I used another new set I have had for months Wet Puddle by The Cat's Pajamas.  Isn't she just so adorable!  hee hee I love her paper pieced boots too!  Okay, my first sketch for the year is done.  Let's hope I can continue throughout the year!
