Penny Black Post-it holder

Hi Everyone!
Today I'm going to share my projects using Penny Black favorite stamps from latest collection. It's not easy to have a favorite among these gorgeous stamps! I love Mimi, I love Critters, and i adore flowers. but working with Penny Black stamps which was illustrated by Mo Manning is very new to me. That's why i picked them!

Since next week i'll be going to Thailand (yay! holiday!) I'm thinking to make some handmade gifts for my friends there. I made 2 post-it holders. One is for my friend who is a doctor, which is perfect with this Wishing you Well stamp.And another with You are a Peach stamp! I LOVE her hair buns.

Use thickers to personalize it with names

Add some distress inks Antique linen to the edge of scallop die

And a card

all colored with Copics and Distress inks :)

I miss you

Easter holiday is just around the corner. In April,i will get a week off teaching and guess what. I'll be flying to Bangkok! yay yay ! it's been almost half year since last time i meet my bf. i gotta admit i really miss him ^^ I will miss crafting too, but i'll try to leave with some scheduled post.

This and next week Penny Black will be showcasing project using favorite stamp from all designers. I've seen the peek projects, and they are amazing. 

Since i got a couple of favorites so i think i would share them in a couple posts too. Hedgy Truffles is one of my favorite. I always adore critters on my cards! combined with Sweet Home grass stamp.

Go Green and Cute Micey

I also want to share another card i made using Penny Black Fish are jumpin wood mounted stamp .  I love seeing the cute micey rowing a peanut boat. how cute ! so i make a sliding card to make as if the mice is on a journey.

An Easter Greeting

Today the design team is sharing some Easter cards on Penny Black Blog using new Easter stamps. The new stamp set called Spring day is really cute! This time i only pick all the critters, and make a scene as if the chicks was collecting the eggs for the bunny :) and i also chose pastel color tone on my card.

Celebrate

There's always many things to celebrate everyday!

Today i want to say congratulations to my friend Yulis who become DT member of Magnolia , congratulations for my cousin Imelda who just celebrate first month of her baby, and me celebrating for getting a very happy mail arrives at my home ! yay ! *doing happy dance*

A celebrate tag i made using Tour de Fun stamp from Penny Black ! It has less color, unlike my other creations. but hope you like it.

then let's put this tag on a card.

i use Authentique paper to create "a bit" masculine look

but, you can also use some plain card stock like this .

New fashion girl that looks like Mimi

Wednesday is always the busiest day of the week, second after Saturday. I have lots of students for tutoring class, but it's always fun to have them around. Yesterday some of my students told me they really don't want me to leave Indonesia or stop teaching them.  I told my boyfriend,i think if i move to Bangkok, they would cry. These cute students has been accompanying me for quite a long time. Love them so much.*sob*

So......Today my card is scheduled for Penny Black blog for fashion girl inspiration week. If i have to say honestly, all of the new fashion girl stamps from Penny Black are just beautiful and as adorable as Mimi. like the one i'm choosing to stamp on my card today. I think she looks like Mimi :D all grown up, with style. 

I created this card using Shop & tweet stamp , and some left over paper strips, mix and match card stock strips on my desk. because i hate to waste.

Isn't this a very quick and simple card everyone can try to make ? :) I always try to make more Thank You cards, so when i need to give cards to anyone, i don't have to rush. ...... i hope you all have sometime to craft today.

One more thing. you should check this video by Cathy A. ,how she make a necklace pendant using stamps.I find it so inspiring and interesting!

Big thanks and simple bookmarks

Hi Everyone
Sorry for being MIA for quite a long time. I went to another city for health check up and coming back with a pile of tasks on my desk. (even the monday post was a scheduled post)  I have to make a report of student scores, and give scores to their exams.. total were 6 classes, plus giving exam preparation , tutoring secondary school students.

So i'm here to share a very simple quick-made pair of bookmarks using Penny Black Tres Chic stamps. All the new fashion girls stamps inspiration will be on the blog next week. Pssst.... I've seen what my DT friends made, Their projects are.. WOW!! so check them out next week on Penny black Blog.
